The March 11, 2019, APICS PDM was a joint meeting with ISM and CO-OPP at J. Liu Restaurant & Bar at 6880 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio.

Shari Diaz presented. Shari has 19 years of professional experience, 16 with IBM spanning Sales, Customer Fulfillment, Procurement, Global Business Transformation, and most recently Watson Supply Chain Offering Management. She is a global program director, and has deep expertise in supply chain program/project/operations management, eCommerce/B2B trends and technology, and strategic sourcing/negotiating.

Shari spoke to a packed house.  She covered the five trends that IBM sees shaping the future of supply chain. She addressed how the supply chain IT landscape is evolving with the emergence of Multi-Enterprise Business Network (MEBN) solutions, and how Blockchain and AI are being leveraged across the space to drive collaboration, informed, efficient decision-making and automation.

Shari's passion is problem solving and process improvement using data-driven decisions and continuous improvement methods. Her current focus is building out the IBM Supply Chain AI, Blockchain and IoT strategy.
