President's Report

ASCM Columbus Forum Members and Friends:

As always, we're available to help identify opportunities for you to:

  • And leverage the amazing Columbus supply chain community.

Firstly, we have had a change in our Board composition. Steve Steve DeNunzio (OSU) our long time President of the ASCM Columbus forum has chosen to not continue as President and has passed on the mantle to a new board with me as your President of the forum.

Educational Offerings

The ASCM Columbus Forum continues to partner with the ASCM Akron Chapter to offer CLTD, CPIM, CSCP and other certification course prep.  And, the ASCM Columbus Forum will be offering non-certification training in the upcoming future.

To learn more about available certification training, contact ASCM Akron Chapter president Jeff Lubash by visiting https://akron.ascm.org/education.html, emailing [email protected], or call 330-668-6084.

Akron will have a CPIM course starting on Tuesday 2/6, and a CSCP course starting on Thursday 2/8.  These classes will meet once per week from 6-9pm.

BOMS Update

The ASCM Columbus Forum has a partner Student Forum at The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business.  BOMS (the Buckeye Operations Management Society)!  BOMS continues to be an active and healthy student organization. 

We had a great presentation from DHL for the joint BOMS - ASCM meeting in OSU in October 2023. 

We look forward to inspiring our next generation of Supply Chain Leaders through our programs and events.
